Payment

Most Credit Cards are acceptable, cash, debit cards. All prices include value added tax at a current rate.

Refunds

If you are unhappy with any treatment you have had please contact a member of staff.

Zero Tolerance / Abusing Policy

Altea takes equality and diversity very seriously and will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment by clients or staff.

Appointments Times

To ensure you receive the full benefit from your visit to Altea we recommend you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment.

As a courtesy to other clients following your appointment, late arrivals will result in a reduced treatment time. All treatment times stated are approximate and may include consultation time, preparation time, treatment and relaxation time.

Mobile Phones

Please switch off mobile phones before & during your visit to the salon.

Consultation

All new clients will be required to complete a consultation form. This is information is completely confidential and is covered by the Data Protection Act and is GDPR compliant. We are of course, pleased to offer you up-to-date information and advice with a complimentary consultation in the strictest of confidence.

Once a client has given consent to receiving a treatment either verbally or written they take full responsibility for any reactions that they may experience. It is the client's responsibility to inform the therapist if they have any medical conditions prior to their treatment.

Hygiene

Salon Hygiene is, of course, the utmost importance and to achieve optimal cleanliness all our sterilisation equipment complies with the current hygiene standards

Avoid wearing "Best" underwear for Bikini wax. Avoid normal deodorants after under arm wax.

Medical Information

Please make us aware of any relevant medical information at the time of booking and advise us of any changes following your first consultation form. Some treatments may be unsuitable or need adjusting this is for the health and safety of our clients.

Eyebrows / Eyelash Tint

A skin patch test is required for all new clients who require tinting. The skin patch test must be applied 24 hours prior to an appointment. Please inform us if you are pregnant or have any known allergies or previous allergic reactions.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for 6 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Vouchers may be used for treatments and products only at Altea Beauty Rooms. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred.

Data Security

Your personal details are for our use only and are stored securely via our online server and hard copies securely placed; we never share your details with any third party without your consent.

We take every effort to protect your personal data from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so. Access to your personal data is only permitted among our employees on a need-to-know basis and subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations.

Data Retention

We will store your personal details for as long as we need it for the purpose it is being processed for. Your data collected when visiting; will be accessed to recommend or suggest best suitable treatment in our salon.

We remove client’s data from our database if clients have not any treatments in our salons in the last 5 years. We will actively review the personal data we hold and delete it securely, when there is no longer a legal, business or consumer need for it to be retained.

Your data may also be retained so that we can continue to improve your treatments experience in our salon and to ensure that you receive any offers and invitations to events. You can withdraw your consent to prevent your personal data being used this way at any time by contacting us.

Interaction with external social networks and platforms

This type of service allows interaction with social networks or other external platforms directly from the pages of the Altea Beauty Rooms website.

The interaction and information obtained through Altea Beauty Rooms are always subject to the User’s privacy settings for each social network.
